  • The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority seeks a full-time project Engineer / Project Manager to perform drafting and other technical assistance required to support the function of the Planning, Engineering, and Operations division, and to assist with the implementation and management of projects at all levels, including concepts, design, construction, and reporting.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Certified as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio

    Bachelor of Science degree in construction technology or engineering discipline

    Knowledge of construction materials and methods, including building codes;

    At least two (2) years of construction inspection, project coordination and management experience, preferably with a government agency

    Proficient in AutoCAD software

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Completion of U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-hour course in construction or general industry safety and health hazards preferred

    ArcView GIS knowledge and experience preferred

    Salary range at hire is $85,000-105,000 to be commensurate with credentials and experience, together with a comprehensive benefit package.

  • The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, through ARG Services, Inc., is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Worker for Snow Removal at the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport.  Must have experience with using various snowplow equipment, or be able to learn, which could include front-end loader, pick-up truck with snowplow, hand-pushed snow blower, hand-pushed gas-powered snow broom, salt spreaders, and shovels.  Other duties as assigned.

    Successful hires will work in snow, icy, and cold conditions.  This position works inside and outside during a snow event.

    This position is on-call for staffing snow events as needed and will need to be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends. 

    Must be at least 18-years old and possess a valid driver license.  A Commercial Driver License (CDL) is preferred but not required.  Must be able to pass a background check as required by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

    The rate of pay is $20.00 per hour.  Holiday pay is available when worked.
